FENG SHUI NEWSLETTER – 2012 Issue 4
What is on Feng Shui Lou’s mind?
The Laws of Cosmic Awareness
In my last 2 newsletters, I spoke of the New Being as one wherein Love and Mercy are to become the foremost and fundamental attributes of all future humans. Cosmic Awareness describes Love and Mercy as Cosmic Laws. In those Issues (2 and 3), I printed the descriptions of the Law of Love and the Law of Mercy. There is one more Law of Cosmic Awareness that I want to give you. It is called the Universal Law. “The Universal Law is that knowledge, that awareness, that all living things, all life has within it that vitality, that strength to gather into it all things necessary for its growth and fruition.”
This law is worthy of our contemplation, especially when we feel like we cannot cope any longer with life’s trials. It encourages us to persist in whatever difficulty we are immersed in, knowing that we can prevail.
Take for example, an acorn. When planted, there is every expectation that when it bursts forth and begins to grow, it will become a strong oak tree – not half a tree, not 2/3 of a tree but a whole, complete tree. Everything needed for the oak to flourish is already present in the acorn. Similarly, the Universal Law guarantees that we too have all we need to attain what we came here to accomplish and no less. We can do it!
2012 and Beyond
It’s the end of September and the time compression and planetary chaos seems to be ever increasing. Are you feeling like the day zips by and it is hard to remain focused to accomplish even simple goals by end of the day? Well, you are not alone. The feedback I am receiving from family, friends, acquaintances and even strangers follows a similar pattern. There are emergencies, flare-ups, frustration, forgetfulness – you name it. The news is rife with examples too. So you’re not going crazy and no need to freak out. This is just the higher frequencies we are experiencing.
Scientists are discovering new types of cosmic particles apparently emanating from the Milky Way’s central sun that are bombarding our solar system – which of course includes us.
Like it or not, we are going through a significant change that is an expansion of consciousness, mind and body. The apparent chaos is a breaking up of all the old systems that must occur and from the chaos will arise a new organization of the planet and a much better way of life for everyone. It is already happening, my friends.
For me, these days, I imagine myself in a very large seaworthy ship navigating stormy waters and knowing that I am safe while waiting for the storm to subside. Sometimes though, I see myself on a surfboard riding the crest of an enormous wave and having a heck of a ride!
Feng Shui Tip
Inside Space – Continued
Issue 2012 – 3, we explored the Feng Shui of the kitchen. Let’s take a Feng Shui look at the living room.
The Living Room
The Living Room is best located in the front of the home and in view from the front door and foyer. Since it is one of the first rooms seen as one enters the home, the look and feel should be one of beauty and prosperity. As such it sets the tone while enhancing the CH’I of the home and those entering are uplifted. This is the room to design as a reflection of you, your tastes, and your aesthetics.
Factors to Consider
Sofas and chairs should be comfortable of course, yet their placement must be carefully selected. A sofa or chair placed with the back to a door will be unsettling to the persons sitting in them. The back needs to be protected by plant(s) a table or other object that breaks up the Sha CH’I from the door. Furniture can sometimes be set up in a Bagua shape. Often however, the space does not allow such an arrangement. If there is a fireplace, for conversation purposes, it is desirable to set up seating facing each other rather than facing the fireplace. With seating organized facing a fireplace, conversation will lag and minds drift off. Space between persons should be comfortably close. Too much distance between people loses intimacy and stifles conviviality.
Colors: Room color should be slightly Yang with soft pastels and avoiding darker Yin colors. Rugs, walls and ceiling should coordinate following the 5 Element Theory of contributing energies. Integrate all the other colors by addition of drapery, pillows and art. Introduce varying textures as well.
Art: Carefully choose the pieces of art for your living room as they emote and thus convey differing effects such as: action, repose, happiness and sadness to name a few. It is better not to hang photos of the deceased, photos or paintings of dilapidated buildings, wild animals such as lions, tigers and the like. Be particularly aware of abstract/modern art for some of it does not create positive energy. As an example, modern statues of people with missing arms, or faceless heads are better left to be displayed in a gallery rather than in your living room – or any room for that matter.
Feng Shui Cures
You may apply Feng Shui cures to your living room to further enhance the CH’I by following the pattern determined by the Bagua. Since money and finances, are currently under stress these days, let’s see what could be added or changed in the living room to strengthen prosperity.
Standing at the door, move your focus to the far left corner of the room. First, check out what is already there. Is the appearance contributing to prosperity? Is it bare? Does it look neat or is there clutter? If there happens to be a door leading outside in the Sun corner, you could be losing money CH’I through the door. Items to add are: a lamp – preferably a torchiere, a table with a large plant – better yet a tree flowing upward with rounded or soft leaves, a fish tank or small fountain. Add a mirror for more expansion. Decorate with green, red or purple accents. In a similar fashion, go around the remaining areas of the room analyzing each particular area according to the corresponding gua.

EMFs and GEOPATHIC SCREENING
We are being swamped with harmful Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMFs). These detrimental energies are radiating from all kinds of broadcasting towers such as radio, TV, cell towers, wireless devices, cell phones and other sources.
Data continues to pour in about damage to brain cell DNA and interrupted brain cell communication. There is evidence also of tumors and other immune system problems. These harmful energies need to be harmonized.
Dangerous earth energies called Geopathics are also in evidence now in many homes. They are similar in source to EMFs except the Geopathics emanate from within the earth’s energetic grids. Geopathics will make any illness worse and/or prevent an illness from healing.
In many parts of Europe and especially Germany, “it is considered
mal-practice to not recommend to a patient to have a dowser check for Geopathics in the home of a person with a long term illness” (The late Dr. Hans Nieper – world famous German research oncologist).
Call or email the office for a quote.
In my 25 years of practice, I have found that clients make changes to their homes and forget to evaluate the Feng Shui consequences. Even small changes can have an unexpected consequence. Have a question about a change you made to your house, a piece of furniture, painting or a color scheme you are not sure about? Has someone’s life, finances or health taken a sudden or drastic turn? Call for a phone consultation.
For any service not mentioned, questions, or any inquires, call my office. It would be my pleasure to speak with you.
The Best Feng Shui Luck to you.
